I didn’t start Growlo because I wanted to run an agency. I started it because I know exactly what it feels like to be the business owner nobody can find.
I’ve spent years in the trenches of small business — first building my own window cleaning and pressure washing company from the ground up, then spending four years as a General Manager helping another service business grow and run better.
What I saw over and over was the same thing: hardworking business owners doing great work, but losing jobs to competitors who just happened to show up first on Google or had a better-looking Facebook page. The work wasn’t the problem. Being invisible was.
That’s why I started Growlo.
Most marketing agencies are run by people who’ve never owned a business. They’ve never had to worry about where the next job is coming from, never had to answer to a slow month, never had skin in the game.
I have. And that changes everything about how I work with clients.
When I take on a client, I’m not just running ads or posting content. I’m thinking like a business owner — because I am one. I care about your actual results: more calls, more booked jobs, more revenue. Not just likes and impressions.
I’m based in Mauldin, SC — right in the heart of Upstate South Carolina. I’m a family man, originally from Green Bay (yes, I bleed green and gold 🏈), and I built Growlo because I wanted to do meaningful work that actually helps people — while still being present for the people that matter most to me.
I work with small businesses in Upstate SC and beyond — service companies, local shops, contractors, and anyone who’s serious about growing their online presence the right way.
No pitch decks. No sales pressure. Just a straight conversation about where your business is and where you want it to go.
